Wakeboarding in San Diego

The ideal spot for wakeboarding here in the San Diego area is Mission Bay, and it’s behind our incredible 2020 Centurion Ri237. Beginners and professionals are welcome to get behind our endless wake to learn, hone, and relish in a session of nonstop wakeboarding.

Wakeboarding is a watersport involving a boat that creates wake and a board you ride along that wake. It was created as a replacement for surfing when the water was too calm and has become its own sport ever since. Now, there are worldwide wakeboarding competitions and championships and boats that are made specifically for creating the perfect wake.

Right now! There’s never a bad time to start wakeboarding. However, we do need to keep safety in mind, so San Diego Wake is available to you from sunrise to sunset any day of the week. It’s risky to wakeboard after dark, but we give you every second of daylight to be out on the water.

Each session is broken up into thirds: 2/3 of your time, 1/3 of your time is relaxing or swimming. You can always book back-to-back sessions to get more time on the water if you’re eager to test your stamina. We all love the idea of being out on the water for as long as possible, but it’s different in practice. Breaks are needed. By integrating it into our schedule, you know exactly what to expect so you don’t feel like you’ve wasted precious wakeboarding time.

Anyone and everyone. It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner itching to ride your first wave or a pro looking to test out new tricks and practice for a competition. Our boat is perfect for beginners to get the hang of things and experts to get a solid practice session.

We make it as easy as possible to get your session in, from attending Meetup events to booking your own private session. We also make sure you have what you need to stay on the water as long as possible. Our boat produces a steady, endless wake in 90 seconds so you can stay out longer and really get the most out of your wakeboarding session.
