Wakesurfing

San Diego WakeSurfing

When you want a controlled wave or to try something new, wakesurfing is the sport for you. Get behind our award-winning boat, drop the rope, and ride the wave until the very end. We’ve got everything you need to have an awesome ride from start to finish.

What Is Wakesurfing?

Wakesurfing is a watersport where a boat tugs you along via a rope that you let go of once you’ve got momentum standing on your wakesurf board. It’s fun for pros and beginners, alike, attempting tricks and developing balance. It’s a comparable sport to surfing, but the boards are much shorter, and the wave is much shorter.

Who Is Wakesurfing for?

Beginners

For beginners, wakesurfing helps you develop balance and stamina. It’s fun to get on the water and test how long you ride the wave, and even the ability to stand up for longer periods of time a feat. We’re here to help you reach that goal with all day availability and a surf instructor on deck.

Professionals

For pros, we’ve got you covered. We use the brand new 2020 Centurion Ri237 that gives you a consistent wake for your entire session. This beauty of a boat only takes 90 seconds to get the wake going so you don’t waste any valuable time waiting.

When Can I Wakesurf?

We’re available sunrise to sunset on any day of the week for beginners and professionals, alike. Each session is broken up into thirds. Two thirds of your session is pure watersport while one third of the session is rest and relaxing on the water. This is a safety measure so we don’t promote overworking your body and causing damage. We at San Diego Wake are transparent about this so you know exactly what to expect and avoid feeling like you’ve wasted precious time off the wake. If you need more time, you can always book back-to-back sessions for up to a full day of wakesurfing.

There are three ways you can schedule your time with San Diego Wake. The first is through our Meetup page. Meetup allows you to socialize and meet like-minded wakesurfers of all levels to get on the water with you, because it’s no fun doing it alone. The second is booking directly on Our Boat Rental Page.   The third is booking directly GetMyBoat and the Fourth is booking directly BoatSetter. It’s up to your discretion on which method to use. Of course, if you have any questions or you’d like information on special pricing, you are more than welcome to contact us.
